PWHL Toronto is a professional ice hockey team based in Toronto, and are one of the original six franchises of the Professional Women’s Hockey League. Jocelyne is a 3 time Olympian, and 2014 & 2022 Gold Medalist. Natalie Wideman is a Canadian Softball star, Olympic medalist, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, is studying naturopathic medicine, and is a foodie. She uses HealthyNow’s Performance Meals as her ‘secret weapon’ to help her achieve her fitness, athletic and career goals.
Erin Ambrose is an Olympic Gold medalist hockey player and team mate of Brianne Jenner, another HealthyNow ambassador. Jayna is a multiple Gold medal winning hockey star, and amongst her countless career highlights was scoring the Gold medal winning goal at the 2002 Winter Olympics, and becoming a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame. Now Jayna helps lead the Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association and frequently provides hockey analysis on TSN, on top of being a busy mom. Rohan Burrell is a fitness enthusiast, boxing coach and gym owner. Having HealthyNow’s delicious, convenient & nutrient dense Performance Meals have been a game changer to keep him sharp, mentally, physically and emotionally, with his full days in the gym.
Saroya is a defender on the Isobel Cup Championship winning Toronto Six hockey team who is sparking change, pushing limits, breaking barriers, and creating a more equitable future in hockey. Drafted fourth overall in 2020 before joining the Toronto Six in 2021 and named a PHF All-Star for the 2022 – 2023 season. She runs Saroya Strong, a mentorship program for young Black women in sports, and is also the Executive Director of Black Girl Hockey Club Canada, a nonprofit organization that advocates for Black women in ice hockey. In 2022, Saroya was part of Front Office Sports’ Rising 25 Class, named one of Sportsnet’s Top-25 Women in Hockey, and won the PHF’s Denna Laing Award, awarded to “the player most actively applying the core values of hockey to her community as well as growing and improving hockey culture.” She also won the TIFF People’s Choice Award for Uninterrupted Canada’s Black Ice.
Brooklyn is a sprint kayak team member with multiple National Championship titles and have competed at The Olympic Hopes and Junior Worlds Championships. She is currently working towards racing at the U23 World Championships and the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Team. HealthyNow’s performance meals plays a crucial role in fuelling her training both in-season on the water and during the off season where she is a full-time student athlete. As an athlete she knows the importance of what she puts into her body to ensure she is performing at her highest level.
